PostSubject: 4) Rank Information   Sat Feb 14, 2015 3:23 pm

These are the known ninja ranks that can be obtained by a ninja within the world of Naruto. On our server Ranks don't always measure power, however what is in fact important is that the higher rank you are the more experienced you are and the more stamina and knowledge you hold.

_____________________________________________________________

[Academy Students]
The academy is where would-be ninja start; they are not actually considered ninja until they graduate. Academy students take formal and practical tests of all sorts and are taught basic ninja skills, such as martial arts, techniques, physical fitness and the way of the ninja. Basic weapon usage, such as kunai and shuriken, is commonly taught. Elementary ninja techniques, though they vary from village to village, are also taught.

Maximum Level: 10
Jutsu: Up to D Rank
HP/CP Bonus: +0
Teaching Abilities: Nothing

Note: Academy Students do not benifit from any bonuses gained from clans/bloodlines/abilities unless it is an addition to Jutsu Learning Rolls. (This includes Damage Bonus / Skill Bonus / Stat Bonuses etc)
Note: It is not required to start out as an Academy Student, However if you do then you will gain Permanent bonuses to your character for being willing to put in the time, effort, and Roleplay (It is always required that AS students are to be atleast 1 week old, before graduation). On-Graduation you will be Made level 16, Instead of the Normal level 15 for Genin. As well, you will gain a Permanent +6 to all Learning Rolls for the rest of your Characters Lifespand.

_____________________________________________________________

[Genin]
Genin are the lowest level of ninja and also the ones that display the most difference in power. When they become Genin, ninja start to do their bit for their village's economy – being sent on missions that the village gets paid for. They are typically sent either on D-rank missions, which are the lowest rank and are almost entirely risk-free jobs of manual labor, or experienced genin are sent on C-rank missions, which are a cut above that and begin to verge on real "ninja" work – though they generally have a very low possibility of risk to the ninja involved, especially since their Jounin level sensei often accompanies them. Recently, Konohagakure has been shorthanded in upper-level ninja ever since the attack by Otogakure and Sunagakure, and has been forced to occasionally send Genin on higher-ranked missions, often without the supervision of a Jounin.

Maximum Level: 15
Jutsu: Up to C Rank
HP/CP Bonus: +5
Teaching Abilities: E Ranks Only
Rank Up Mods: None

Note: All Character may Start out as Genin Automatically.

_____________________________________________________________

[Advanced Genin]
Advanced Genin are still the lowest tier of official Shinobi, however they are far more experienced then normal. Examples of this would be Naruto, and Sasuke at the end of the 'Naruto' Show, before it became ''Naruto: Shippuden'. They are stronger, Faster, more skilled and can even take on weaker chunin, but they are still in fact, Genin. Advanced Genin MUST be DM Approved.

Maximum Level: 20
Jutsu: Up to B Rank
HP/CP Bonus: +10
Teaching Abilities: E / D Rank
Rank Up Mods: None

Note: Characters May not Start at this Rank. This rank is NOT required to become Chunin.

_____________________________________________________________

[Chuunin]
Chuunin are ninja who are qualified to watch over and guide other ninja. Chuunin have reached a level of maturity that primarily consists of leadership skills and tactical prowess. Some of them, like Iruka Umino, function as teachers and others, like Shikamaru Nara, serve as team leaders in charge of small teams who need to make decisions and utilize the skills of the shinobi under their command to the maximum effect. Chuunin are typically sent on C or B-rank missions. To become a Chuunin, a Genin participates in a large examination, known as the "Chuunin Exams," with his or her team. Genin/Advanced Genin must be DM approved for Chuunin, this can be requested of the DM team if you feel you are not noticed, or by competing in the Chuunin Exam event held on the server.

Maximum Level: 25
Jutsu: Up to A Rank
HP/CP Bonus: +10
Teaching Abilities: E / D / C Rank
Elements: Gain a Second Element (Unless Clan / Bloodline / Ability states otherwise)
Rank Up Mods: 2* See bottom of page for details.

Note: Characters May not Start at this Rank.

_____________________________________________________________

[Advanced Chuunin]
Advanced Chuunin are those of Chuunin whom have become stronger then their peers through training and time, more experienced and skilled then normal chunin, more enduring with more stamina but not quite to the point of being able to become Special Jounin just yet in Skill. These are the more expirenced, such as Iruka and others whom lead the Academy as Teachers and the like. To get Advanced Chuunin, you must be approved by the DM Team, and can be requested of the DM team if you feel you are not noticed.

Maximum Level: 30
Jutsu: Up to A Rank
HP/CP Bonus: +10
Teaching Abilities: E / D / C / B Rank
Rank Up Mods: None

Note: Characters May not Start at this Rank. This rank is NOT required to become Special Jounin.

_____________________________________________________________

[Special Jounin]
Special Jounin are ninja who, rather than all-around Jounin training, have Jounin-level ability in a single area or skill, much like warrant officers of real-world militaries. They are elite specialists in their areas and are often assigned as subordinates to regular Jounin when their services are needed. One example of a Special Jounin would be Ibiki Morino. This character's unique ability to completely understand the workings of the human mind makes him a Jounin-level interrogation expert. Ebisu is another Special Jounin that specializes as an elite teacher of young pre-Genin ninja before becoming Konohamaru's sensei in Part II. Chunin/Advanced Chunin must be DM approved for Special Jounin, this can be requested of the DM team if you feel you are not noticed.

Maximum Level: 35
Jutsu: Up to S Rank
HP/CP Bonus: +15
Teaching Abilities: E / D / C / B / A Rank
Rank Up Mods: 3* See bottom of page for details.

Note: Characters May not Start at this Rank. This rank is NOT required to become Jounin.
Note: If you move from Special Jounin to Jounin, you do NOT get the +3 for reaching Jounin.

_____________________________________________________________

[Jounin]
Jounin are generally highly-experienced ninja with great individual skill who serve as military captains. They are often sent on A-rank missions, and experienced Jounin may even be sent on S-rank missions (which are considered to be the most difficult). They may also carry out these missions alone. They are sometimes assigned as sensei for three-person teams of Genin. It is as of yet unknown what one has to undergo to become one, although it is mentioned in the Naruto Anime Profiles databook that Jounin are appointed, however there was also a mention of a Jounin exam in the Kurama filler arc. Most Jounin are able to use at least two types of elemental jutsu. Chunin/Advanced Chunin/Special Jounin must be DM approved for Jounin, this can be requested of the DM team if you feel you are not noticed, as well you must have One main Mod of 20, a Secondary of 15, and a Tiertary of 10.

Maximum Level: 40
Jutsu: Up to S Rank
HP/CP Bonus: +20
Teaching Abilities: E / D / C / B / A / S Rank
Elements: Gain a Third Element (Unless Clan / Bloodline / Ability states otherwise)
Rank Up Mods: 3* See bottom of page for details.

Note: Characters May not Start at this Rank.
Note: If you move from Special Jounin to Jounin, you do NOT get the +3 for reaching Jounin.

_____________________________________________________________

Kage/S-Rank: Those who have achieved the title of Kage are the leaders of the five most powerful Hidden Villages and generally the most powerful ninja in their respective villages. There may be exceptions, however; for example, a ninja may be the most powerful at the time of being installed as Kage, but may become less powerful upon aging, eventually being surpassed by a more youthful ninja. S-Rank Shinobi are just the same, leveled on Par with Kage they are insanely powerful, some even known to be able to take on the Weaker Bijjun without any backup, they are the strongest of Shinobi and the most feared and respected by both allies and enemies alike. Jounin must be DM approved for Kage/S-Rank, this can be requested of the DM team if you feel you are not noticed, as well you must have One main Mod of 25, a Secondary of 20, and a Tertiary of 15 (Or 2 25 Mods, and One 10 Mod).

Maximum Level: 40
Jutsu: Up to S+ Rank
HP/CP Bonus: +30
Teaching Abilities: E / D / C / B / A / S+ Rank
Rank Up Mods: 3* See bottom of page for details.

Note: Characters May not Start at this Rank.

*Rank Up Mods - These are Mods given to you when you achieve the Rank, by a DM that is Ranking you up. You simply inform the DM where you want the mods placed, and you will then be granted such. Aka: You just got Chunin, so +2 Rank up Mods, you want your Wisdom, your second mod, Raised from a 10 mod to a 12 Mod. (So a base 4 mod to 6 mod.)

[Missing Shinobi]
Missing-nin are ninja who left their village without the intention of returning and severing ties with said village, often because they have committed criminal acts or to pursue other personal agendas. The ninja village that they are from will often try to track them down and eliminate them. This is not only done as a punishment for treason, but also to protect the secrets of the village, since it is possible to learn some of the village's techniques from the autopsy of their users. Kirigakure has a special hunter-nin task-force whose only objective is killing traitorous ninja. Depending on the village leader's decisions, the missing-nin in question may be given leniency. However a missing-nin is typically marked for death simply for defecting, and such mercy is rare.

______________________________________________________________

Becoming) To become a Missing Shinobi you must be atleast Chuunin Rank, and have DM permission.

Rank Information) Missing Shinobi's ranks are determined by their level as well as their current MOD's. Depending on the two factors, you will be given a different ranking in the Bingo Book, and will gain bonuses according to what you are currently ranked at.

Leveling) Missing Shinobi gain levels / ranks different then those of a village. They gain levels through events with a DM, and are able to rewarded ONE LEVEL per event if the DM in question decides they are able to. Or, they are able to buy levels at 1 level per 1 IRL week at the cost of 10 REFUNDABLE tokens.

Teaching) Missing Shinobi are able to teach any jutsu that they currently know, providing they have the MOD requirement to do so.

Creation) Characters are not able to start at this rank, and to become a missing shinobi you MUST have DM Permission. (Atleast 3 DM's must approve)

Hunting) You are susceptible to your original village killing your character if you go missing, or any currently allied village of your original may capture you and return you to your original place of alliegance. If you feel you are wrongly hunted, it will be dealth with on an Admin Level.

Party) Missing Ninja CAN NOT join the server party UNLESS they acknowledge that on joining party they are allowing themselves to be hunted with the asisstance of DM's. This means if you joib server party and you are in a country to which you were originall from or were originally allied with, the DM's are able to spawn NPC's to hunt you.

Disclaimer) You may not at any time complain / rant about not gaining levels via an event. If you are hunted, you are not able to go AFK and/or complain that you are being hutned. If it anytime you go AFK on the server, and you are not within the OOC area AFK zone, a DM has the right to port you to Jail until such time you return and your character is ICly jailed. Being a Missing Ninja is suppose not suppose to be fair, kind, glamourous or in anyway easy. You are open for Perma Oppurtunities twenty four seven. If you do complain / whine at any time, you will be punished, with possibility of character Perma or being returned to your village with the loss of levels that were purchased.

Note) If you go missing at a certain rank, you DO NOT gain the free rank up mods or the free jutsu. You MUST hit that rank WHILE being a missing Ninja to gain them. (E.G Going missing at ADV Chuunin - level 30, Does go gain the C and B rank Rank Up mods or free jutsu. But Going missing at Chuunin (C Rank) and reaching B rank, you would gain the +2 and 1x free Jutsu)

______________________________________________________________

Rank Up Mods) Every Rank recieves 2x Rank Up Mods. These are Mods given to you when you achieve the Rank, by a DM that is Ranking you up.
